BEFORE YOU GLIDE YOUR EYES ALONG THE WORDS PROVIDED PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT SOME KID TRYING TO PORTRAY MYSELF AS THIS HARDCORE SKATEBOARDER. I DO SKATE THOUGH, ONCE WHEN MY MOM WAS TRIPPING AND SKATEBOARDS WERE THE ONLY ESCAPE FOR ME TO TRAVEL TO MY GIRLFRIENDS HOUSE, THAT'S WHEN I WOULD FALL FOR THE BOARD AND WHEELS. CATCHING MYSELF FALL DEEPLY WITHIN THE URGE TO WATCH DOCUMENTARIES ON "COMCAST ON DEMAND" I BUMP INTO SOME OF THE MOST NEEDED INFO TO BE KNOWN. ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO I FOUND MYSELF FALLING INTO ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME WHICH IN MY OPINION IS "LORDS OF DOGTOWN". THE FILM IS PRODUCED BY STACEY PERALTA. STACEY PERALTA WAS APART OF THE DOGTOWN ZEPHER TEAM SO WHEN HE REACHED HIS LIFE JOB AS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE PRODUCERS IT WAS ONLY RIGHT FOR PERALTA TO WRITE AND PRODUCE THE MOVIE "LORDS OF DOGTOWN". WATCHING THE MOVIE AND DOCUMATARIES OVER AND OVER I CAME TO CONCLUSION JAY ADAMS IS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED SKATERS EVER KNOWN TO MAN. AS THE MOVIE BEING BASED UPON TRUE STORY THE RESEARCH ON JAY ADAM'S HISTORY STARTS WITHOUT ME THINKING TWICE ABOUT THE SKATER.
RESEARCHING JAY ADAMS ON YOUTUBE, GOOGLE, AND BOOKS IT SEEMS THAT JAY WAS THE BIGGEST BAD ASS TO EVER PUT HIS TWO FEET ON A SKATEBOARD DECK. GROWING UP WITH PARENTS HAVING NO CONTROL OVER THEIR CHILDREN IN THE 70'S WAS A CRAZY TIME. EVEN THOUGH JAY WAS RAISED IN A BROKEN HOME WITH A SINGLE MOTHER HE SPROUTED OUT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST SKATERS. AT THE AGE OF 14 JAY WAS OFFERED TO BE SPONSORED BY PLENTY OF COMPANIES BUT DENIED EVERYONE BECAUSE HE FIGURED THE FREEDOM OF HIS SKATING WOULD DIE.CREATING MOVES ON SKATEBOARDS NO ONE ELSE COULD CREATE IN THE 70'S PUT HIM WAY AHEAD OF HIS TIME.UP TO THIS DAY JAY ADAMS IS LOOKED AT AS A GOD FROM A SKATEBOARDERS POINT OF VIEW. I REALLY FEEL LIKE THE REASON JAY DIDN'T GO PRO WAS BECAUSE HE WAS SCARED HE WAS APART FROM HIS TEAM. WATCHING STACEY PERALTA ND TONY ALVA GOING PRO BROKE HIM BEING APART FROM HIS HOMIES AT THE AGE OF FOURTEEN. THE YOUTUBE VIDEO PROVIDED IS A PIECE FROM THE DOCUMENTARY "DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS". JAY ADAMS WILL ALWAYS BE ALIVE IN SKATEBOARDING HISTORY. I WONDER HOW DIFFERENT THE SKATEBOARDING INDUSTRY WOULD HAVE BEEN IF JAY ADAMS WENT PRO. MAKES ME WANT TO BOARD IT UP.
